Mark Schleifstein, co-author of “Path of Destruction: The Devastation of New Orleans and the Coming Age of Superstorms,” with John McQuaid, will discuss his new book and sign copies at the Uptown campus of the New Orleans Jewish Community Center, 5342 St. Charles Avenue, at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 5, as part of the center’s weeklong Jewish book fair.
